Highlighting the southwest quadrant of the Philadelphia's center, this site is a calendar for local life and all its wonderful diversity.

As a "gateway" to the future, the calendar is an information source and electronic kiosk to enhance communication and participation. Developed by the Gateway CDC, the hope is that the calendar will evolve and expand as more and more organizations and visitors become active participants.

The Gateway Community Development Corporation, founded in 2000 as the South of South Community Development Corporation, is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to “developing special projects that enhance the quality of life for all in South-West-Center-City”. We have developed this community calendar for “one-stop-reviewing” of events in the community as well as neighboring areas. We hope you will visit us often.

Calendar Use & Administration

The Calendar is administered by the Gateway CDC. Interested organizations who would like to post their upcoming events can become a "posting organization" or submit their information to be posted. Please see "How to Post."

Gateway does occasionally review postings and adds or deletes information upon discussion with the poster; however Gateway is not responsible for content posted by others. The calendar is offered as a platform with content provided by others.
