Nuisance Bars, i.e. Robert's Twi-Lite Lounge

The things that will be important for neighbors to remember are:

1) Call 911 and give the exact address of the bar: 700 S. 20th Street and the name of Robert's Twi-Lite Lounge;
2) Rather then having the police respond to your house at the time of the 911 call to be the complainant, follow up with going to the 17th police district the next day and making a complaint and making sure that the police write it up and give it an incident number;
3) Keep a log of dates, times and the incidents that you believe are nuisances;
4) Nuisances can include: Prostitution, Gambling, Vandalism, Drug Usage, Drug Dealing, Guns / Weapons, Shootings, Service to Visibly Intoxicated Patrons, Minors in the bar, Trash outside, Noise including patrons, music or screeching tires,Urinating/ Vomiting, Fighting, Gangs, Drinking Outside;
5) Call or email me at 215-686-5857/ stefanie.cella@phila.gov AND if I am not available the Public Nuisance Task Force Hot line #215-686-5858;
6) Contact the Liquor Control Enforcement (LCE) at 1-800-932-0602 also from the LCE website:
Any citizen can file a complaint if they feel that liquor laws are being violated at a licensed liquor establishment or other location. All complaints are completely confidential. Liquor Enforcement Officers investigate all complaints that relate to activities taking place inside of licensed liquor establishments. Liquor Enforcement Officers also investigate allegations of sales of alcoholic beverages without a liquor license.

VIOLATIONS
Loud noise such as music from jukeboxes, live bands or other entertainment coming from inside of licensed establishments is a violation of the liquor code.

Disturbances caused by patrons departing licensed premises such as loud noise, disorderly behavior, public urination, illegal parking, etc. must be handled by your local police department.

I just sent Affidavits to another neighbor who said she'd pass them out.
